SUMMER
CATALOGUE.
A seasonal digital catalogue for Busy Bee Tools, built to organize a large assortment of machinery, accessories, national brands, pricing and promotional messages into a clear browsing experience. The project moved from hand-planned product maps to a repeatable editorial system and finished digital spreads.

Structure before styling.
The catalogue began on paper. Product codes were mapped into rough page grids so categories, feature products and supporting items could be balanced before production. These working sheets show the underlying planning behind the finished layouts.

Make dense retail information easy to scan.
Each spread had to carry a high volume of product photography, descriptions, model numbers, prices, promotions and brand marks without losing hierarchy. Repeating columns, category headers, promotional devices and a consistent footer created order while still allowing each product category to behave differently.

One system. Very different categories.
The framework flexed across dust collection, outdoor power equipment, bandsaws, jointers, routing and accessories. Large feature products could lead a page while smaller items remained easy to compare, keeping the catalogue useful as both a promotional piece and a product-browsing tool.

Built for digital browsing.
The final digital catalogue uses the same visual rules from spread to spread while changing pace through category banners, product scale, feature blocks and promotional callouts. The result is a long-form retail piece that stays structured even when the amount and type of information changes dramatically.
